R35 Nissan GTR GR6 billet thrust plate

With added power comes added stress.  Your GR6 transmission was made to handle less than 700 horsepower.  When increasing the power to twice, and sometimes even three times OEM power, upgrades will be needed.  The OEM GR6 thrust plate is made of cast aluminum and is not very sturdy.  Your gearset thrusts itself into this plate on heavy acceleration and will destroy the OEM plate over time.
