This is a Driveshaft Shop upgraded front driveshaft (rear section only) for R35 Nissan GTR. The OEM driveshaft has a weak point where the driveshaft passes through the center support bearing. The shaft is insufficient diameter and strength in this area and is prone to breaking. DSS removes this weak point by installing a much thicker diameter section here, which in turn requires the use of their supplied center support bearing and bracket.
Add this fully refundable Pre-Paid core charge so that we may ship you this driveshaft before receiving your old core. Please notate that a core that is broken in the weak point is usually still a GOOD core. However, we recommend zip tying the bearing cap at the very back of the shaft before shipping. If this is not done, the bearings can pop out the back of the rear CV joint. We will NOT issue a refund if this has happened – Buyer beware.
